Compliance with CLP from 1st December by Nick Boley

ECHA, the European Chemicals Agency, has reminded companies of their obligations to label and package all hazardous substances according to the CLP Regulation and update their SDSs for substances and mixtures to comply with the amendments of the REACH Regulation by 1 December 2012. 

All substances must now be labelled to comply with both CLP Regulation and the current Dangerous Substances Directive (DSD) until 1 June 2015. Safety Data Sheets of substances and mixtures must now be amended according to Annex II of the REACH  which will include changes in format and content.
