ECHA, the European Chemicals Agency, has published a new version of its guidance document for downstream users on the obligations under REACH.
The document has been amended to become clearer and more consistent; some errors in the previous version have also been corrected.
The guidance explains to downstream users of chemical substances what they need to do to comply with REACH. It covers the need for good analytical testing, for the purposes of identification of chemicals as well as for the measurement of substances of very high concern (SVHCs) in articles at levels above 0.1%.
