The Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) of the Health and Safety Executive has announced that a further 3 substances are now approved under the provisions of EU Regulation 1107/2009 for use as plant protection products in the United Kingdom.
The 3 substances are: eugenol, geraniol and thymol. None of these have been permitted for us in the UK previously. The notice from CRD gives details of how to apply for authorisation to use products containing these substances.
