The UK appoints the Government Chemist as a source of advice on the way policy; standards and regulations connect with analytical science. One way in which this part of the Government Chemist remit is delivered is through underpinning work carried out with government and stakeholders to ensure that regulation and enforcement is based on sound analytical science.

The primary means for communicating this is through a newsfeed of ‘Key Legislative and Regulatory Developments with Analytical Measurement Implications’. This will form the one of the main ares covered by this blog, but we request feedback and comment on all posts.
